There and back again

Ah, Singapore. What a country. I don’t know whether to love it or despise it. The more I come here the more I compare. And it looks like Malaysia’s losing the match.

Well, I’ve been here for the past 5 days handling my university applications, getting appraisals, handing in forms, checking out guitars and chicks, and best of all catching up with some friends. (Ironically they’re all foreigners….hmmmm) In the process I blew like tons and tons of cash both in terms of value and opportunity cost. I took unpaid leave for 4 days which amounts to around RM200 and at the same time got myself scorned for the rest of my life by my supervisor. Shitty indeed. Oh well, both time and money wastage…another day’s work! The thing I do best.

It was fun stepping into this tiny island again after barely 2 weeks after me and the guys stayed over at Summer Tavern. Hey, come to think of it that means I’ve worked only slightly over a fortnight for March in Citibank. (No wonderlaaa they show me black face…..sorry boss!!@#$)

The trip took my mind off a couple of things. Felt kinda free. Exhausted, but free.

Almost everywhere I linger will sorta remind me of the things that have happened. Almost every building puts a familiar face in my head, and I’d sometimes smile, scorn or laugh over it. It was also fun hanging out with Ben two days in a row, Wei Jian THREE days in a row, Kai Hui 2 staggered days and yada yada yada.

Well well. This is really a baseless, pointless post, and my eyes are really heavy. Heading back in the morning tomorrow with Ah Kiat. Bye again, Singapore. We will most definitely meet again.
